AGC of Minnesota’s Custom Donor Recognition Wall

Regularly, Awards by Hammond is involved with creating unique trophies or plaques bringing a customer’s vision to fruition. Occasionally we are asked to participate in a project that goes beyond our “typical” products, but utilize the capabilities of our equipment and staff. We enjoy the change of pace and welcome the challenge.

AGC’s “Donor Recognition Wall” is an example of one such project. Using material provided by AGC, Awards by Hammond created the plates which AGC then took back to their facility and assembled the finished product.

Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Minnesota is the premier construction trade association, serving the building and highway construction industry in Minnesota for over 100 years.

In service to its members, AGC of Minnesota recently underwent a complete office remodel, which included doubling the size of their existing training room, which now comfortably seats up to 70 training attendees. AGC members contributed generously to the remodel costs, and AGC created a donor recognition wall in the training room to permanently recognize their generosity.

Affixed to the wall with magnets are steel squares representing levels of giving, each with a custom-engraved logo plate, created by Awards by Hammond.

The steel backdrop on the wall features components of vertical/building construction (buildings, cranes) as well as horizontal/highway construction (roads, bridges) specific to Minnesota.

This custom display took much time to orchestrate, and AGC is thrilled with the results!
